The best way to recover from a day of adventure, hiking or skiing is sit and sample some of the delicious dishes that the kitchen Aran offers. Famous are dishes such as stews and casseroles, and Olla Aranesa, local produce from the area. Other household products such as pates, boar civet or desserts reflect the influence of their border situation with France, while retaining a unique personality of the valley.

And to have fun and learn about the traditions of the area, participate in the many festivals that are celebrated throughout the year is the best.

Traditional dances passed from generation to generation throughout the years as "It Esclops", "It Aubades" and "Eth Puntet" pilgrimages to honor the saints and feasts associated with the field and animals have been preserved intact still today a unique legacy on the lives of our ancestors in the high mountains of the Pyrenees.
